AXIAL COMPRESSORS AND TURBINES
Axial turbomachines offer significant power and efficiency capability ranging from hundreds of kilowatts to upwards of a thousand megawatts by simply compounding stages. But with the cost of the machine related to the amount of material needed for blades, rotors, casings, and support equipment, getting more usable work from a smaller number of stages is a key driver. To accomplish that, detailed knowledge of the flow field within an axial turbomachine is required.

ProAero can provide single stage as well as multistage simulations, both in steady and unsteady domains.
